The war in Gaza is a war on children. By the time you finish reading this whole website, another child will have been killed in Gaza*. Justification for war loses sight of what is really at stake: the lives of children who hold the future for Palestine and Israel.
Children don’t take sides. Children are always on the side of humanity’s future. And we choose to pick their side. All kids deserve a chance to grow up.

*According to calculations made by Al Jazeera based on data released by the Palestinian Ministry of Health, a Palestinian child is killed every 10 minutes in Gaza.

Right now, children in Gaza are walking around with their names written on their bodies. This is something their parents have to do so that, if they are killed, loved ones can still identify and properly mourn them. Can you imagine what it would be like to live through that? When we heard about this our hearts broke and we knew we had to do something.
So we’ve teamed up with artists and activists and we will be writing the names of Gaza’s children on our BODIES as a gesture of solidarity – and to send a message to the world that their lives matter. And you can join us by following the steps below.

Introducing habibi ibrahim_talaa ❤️🩹🖤🤍💚 PLEASE help me help my little mentee, my software developer genius, my sweetheart community leader & future civil engineer. Ibrahim persisted with his studies in between bombing his entire life. He was born into war. Never once did he veer off the right path. I`ve known him since he was 14. His dream was to attend university in Turkey. His dreams are now shattered.😭 Habibi Ibrahim is an inspiration to me. He`s been involved in his community since childhood, using his intelligence to help create programs providing everything from clean water to sustainable energy to ppl in G*A*Z*A. He doesn`t deserve this. 💔 Let him grow up!
Now he enters adulthood and he`s never fully lived as a child because of our tax dollars. Every time I message him, I ask if he`s alive. How much more do young , kind, innocent youth like Ibrahim have to endure of this !?!?

Svi vi kojima je srce slomljeno prizorima stradanja Palestinaca i Palestinki u Gazi i svi vi koji volite prakticirati slobodu kako na prosvjedima tako i prenošenjem vještina umjetničko-zabavne dokolice na svoje najmlađe, dođite i povedite ih, jer ovo je upravo takva aktivnost. Samo savladavanje umijeća pravljenja zmajeva kao i pregovaranje s vjetrom iznimno su zdravi i poticajni za vašu djecu isto koliko je za vas i nas odrasle zdrava pobuna protiv nasilnih i opresivnih režima bilo gdje i bilo kada. I upravo zato - zašto ne u nedjelju 17. ožujka na nasipu?
Svi zainteresirani svoje sudjelovanje odnosno sudjelovanje svoje djece trebaju prijaviti na email kontakt Inicijative za slobodnu Palestinu inicijativa.slobodna.palestina@gmail.com u kojem trebate navesti ime i prezime te dob djeteta. Od roditelja ili tetki ili baka i deka ili drugih srodnika djece, mlađe od 6 godina, se očekuje da budu na radionici osobito kada se zmaj bude sklapao. Svi ostali mogu svratiti do našeg šanka i poslušati u dobrom društvu palestinsku glazbu.
Nadamo se dobrom vjetru i još boljim zmajevima, a ponajviše prestanku okupacije i trajnom miru, ali o tom potom. Dođite i dajte i vjetru i svojoj djeci do znanja da vam je stalo i da se uvijek može i mora nešto učiniti za čovjeka koji podnosi nepodnošljivo.

Who we are
This website was made by campaigners at the global movement Avaaz, many of whom are parents and deeply touched by the situation of the children in Palestine and Israel. When we heard that parents were writing their kids’ names on their bodies in Gaza, our hearts broke. Watching the anguish of Israeli parents longing to get their kids back makes us hurt too. We needed to do something about it.
Avaaz means “voice” in several European, Middle Eastern, and Asian languages. We are a global digital movement to bring people-powered politics to decision-making everywhere. We empower millions of people from all walks of life to take action on pressing global, regional, and national issues, from corruption and poverty to conflict and climate change.
